Implementing 360 Degree Feedback Systems

One way to groom leaders in your organization is to provide them with comprehensive feedback that helps them improve their skills and level of performance. Managers and supervisors today are not the only source for performance feedback ­ team members as well as internal and external customers provide an important picture of performance. That is why many high performing organizations use the 360 degree feedback system in performance evaluations. Organizations are having difficulty developing sustainable multi-rater systems because they fail to: incorporate strategic objectives, provide post-feedback support of learning and development and train team members on how to accurately and objectively rate peers and supervisors. • Streamlining the rating and feedback process through IT and online applications
• Developing a fair and objective process for rater selection

Module 4: Maximizing the Utility of Feedback Ratings
• Training raters and ratees on purpose, process and objectives of the feedback system
• Establishing formal training programs to facilitate application of developmental suggestions
• Implementing rating quality controls to ensure fairness, accuracy and objectivity
